This
workshop will provide detailed information on Virginia’s
Health Insurance Programs for Children and Pregnant
Women– FAMIS, FAMIS Plus, FAMIS MOMS, FAMIS Select,
and Medicaid for Pregnant Women.
It is designed to give community workers a working
knowledge of both programs, including: eligibility
requirements, application procedures, and
post-enrollment information. For those already familiar
with the programs, the workshop will provide information
on recent program changes.
Each participant will receive the SignUpNow Tool Kit,
a comprehensive manual with program information, forms,
and resources to use in working with families. If you
already have a SignUpNow Tool Kit, bring it with
you and we will provide you with updated contents.
The workshop is FREE, but seating is LIMITED so register
